This healthy caramel apple pizza is every apple lover's dream come true! It's made with an easy 2 ingredient crust, loaded with a juicy apple filling, and topped with a delicious vegan caramel sauce.
If you've been looking for a fun twist on your classic pizza night, you need to try this vegan caramel apple pizza!! It's super easy to make and tastes like those delicious caramel apples you'd get at the fair....in pizza form! Trust me, once you try this delicious dessert pizza, you might just forego the pepperoni and whip this up instead!
How to make this Caramel Apple Pizza:
I promise this dessert pizza is WAY easier to make than it looks! Made with just a few simple ingredients like fresh apples, an easy 2 ingredient crust, and my personal favourite vegan caramel sauce!
Pizza Crust:
This pizza dough is made from a yeast free 2 ingredient crust so you don't even need to wait for it to rest or rise! All you need is self rising flour and greek yogurt! If you don't have self-rising flour on hand, you can easily make your own with flour, baking powder and salt. See notes below the recipe for exact measurements.
Apple Filling:
I used granny smith apples for this recipe! Feel free to use your favourite types of apples, or a combination of different ones! First dice your apples into tiny pieces, then toss them with the rest of your filling ingredients, and that's it! Your filling is ready to go in minutes!
Crumble:
I created a super easy almond flour crumble to add on top of the apple filling! Simply combine all your ingredients together until they slightly stick together and form a few clumps. Then scatter them all overtop of your juicy apple filling.
Vegan Caramel Sauce:
The vegan caramel sauce is possibly my FAVOURITE part of this recipe so be sure not to skip it! I've used this healthy caramel sauce in a few of my recipes, so if you're a regular around here, you already know what I'm talking about! It's made from just 4 ingredients: almond butter, maple syrup, almond milk and a little coconut oil. To make, just combine all your ingredients together until they're smooth and creamy. We'll spread some onto the 2 ingredient pizza crust and drizzle it overtop of the entire apple crumble at the end.
