    Frozen chocolate covered banana pops

These banana pops are a delicious healthier alternative to traditional popsicles. They're made from simple, wholesome ingredients and are just so satisfying. I love enjoying these as a refreshing dessert in the summertime. Plus, they truly are so easy to make and you can totally customize them with your favourite toppings.

    Sliced Bananas

Ingredients in these Frozen Chocolate Covered Banana Pops

Bananas - I recommend using firm and ripe bananas for the perfect banana pops.

Chocolate - dark chocolate is my favourite for this recipe, but you can use any chocolate you'd like.

Coconut Oil - this is used to help easily melt the chocolate, and also makes it nice and smooth to dip your bananas in.

Peanut Butter - creamy or chunky peanut butter can be used. You can also substitute any nut butter, or use Sunbutter to accommodate nut allergies.

Shredded Coconut - I use unsweetened shredded coconut for this recipe. It adds the perfect crunch and subtle sweetness. You can also use chopped nuts or even sprinkles if you'd like.

    Topping Ideas:

-Sprinkles - anything topped with sprinkles is always a win in my books! You can also use other candies like mini m&ms.

-Chopped nuts - any chopped nuts would work great. Some ideas are pistachios, peanuts or almonds

-Flakey Sea Salt - makes the best sweet and salty combo

-Granola - adds a nice crunch factor and also pairs perfectly with the chocolate banana combo
