These frozen grape clusters are the five-ingredient summer snack I have been making on repeat. Juicy grapes, creamy greek yogurt and dark chocolate come together to create one of the easiest no bake recipes you will ever make.

If you have been seeing these all over your feed lately, the hype is completely justified. They're creamy, delicious, and packed with protein, so you can indulge without the guilt. I have been keeping a batch in my freezer all summer and they disappear faster than I can make them.

Why You'll Love These Frozen Grape Clusters
- Five simple ingredients you probably have in your pantry
- No bake and minimal clean up!
- The perfect balance of sweet, creamy, and chocolatey
- A genuinely satisfying snack that also happens to be good for you
- Great for meal prep! Make a batch and have stashed in the freezer for whenever you're craving a sweet treat.
Ingredients Needed

- Seedless grapes - red or green both work, but I prefer green for their natural sweetness. Make sure they are rinsed and completely dry before you start. Any moisture will prevent the yogurt from sticking properly.
- Greek yogurt - use full-fat for the best texture. Low-fat yogurt freezes icier and does not bind the clusters as well.
- Maple syrup - this sweetens the yogurt base just enough without being overpowering. You can adjust to taste depending on how sweet your grapes are.
- Chocolate chips - I use dairy-free dark chocolate chips to keep these fully vegan. Semi-sweet works too if you prefer something a little less intense.
- Coconut oil - this is what helps the chocolate melt smoothly when heated
- Flaky salt - for the perfect sweet and salty combo!

How to Make Frozen Grape Clusters

- Step 1: Prep and mix
Wash and thoroughly dry your grapes. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, maple syrup and grapes. Toss until grapes are evenly coated.

- Step 2: Form clusters and freeze Drop spoonfuls of yogurt mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press each cluster together gently so the grapes are touching and the yogurt holds them as one piece. Freeze for 2 hours until completely set.

- Step 3: Melt chocolate and coat Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth. Spoon the melted chocolate over each frozen cluster and return to the tray immediately.

- Step 4: Freeze and finish
Pop the tray back in the freezer for 30 minutes until the chocolate is fully set. Finish with a pinch of flaky salt and enjoy!
Storage
Freezer: Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Place parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking. When ready to enjoy, eat straight from the freezer or let sit at room temperature 5 minutes to soften slightly.
Refreezing: If they partially thaw, do not refreeze. The texture changes significantly once thawed.
Top Tips
Let clusters sit for 5-10 minutes before eating if you want a softer bite. A couple of minutes at room temperature allows the yogurt to soften slightly which makes them easier to bite into.
Dry grapes are non-negotiable - I tested these with grapes that were slightly damp and the clusters won't hold together well. Be sure to dry them thoroughly to create clusters that will hold together well and keep their perfect shape.
Press the clusters together before freezing - Loose, airy clusters will fall apart. When you drop the spoonfuls onto the tray, give them a gentle press so the grapes are touching and the yogurt is holding them together as one piece.
Use full-fat Greek yogurt - I tried this with a low-fat version and the texture was noticeably icier and less creamy.
FAQ
I recommend sticking to fresh. Pre-frozen grapes are coated in ice crystals which prevent the yogurt from gripping the surface properly. The clusters will not hold together and the texture will be icier.
Yes absolutely! Use a thick coconut yogurt in place of the Greek yogurt and dairy-free chocolate chips. The coconut yogurt version is slightly softer when frozen, but still holds together well and tastes great.
Definitely! Blueberries and halved strawberries both work really well mixed in with the grapes. Just make sure whatever fruit you use is dry before it goes into the yogurt mixture.
