The Kris Jenner Erewhon smoothie dropped just in time for Mother's Day and I have been obsessed ever since I saw it. We're talking pitaya, blue spirulina, sea moss, and the most beautiful coconut cream swirl. The colour alone had me running to my blender!

    Erewhon Smoothie Recipe (Kris Jenner)

It's called the "You're Doing Amazing" smoothie and is only available in LA, which means those of us up here in Vancouver are just supposed to... not have it? I don't think so.

This is my copycat version. Same gorgeous colour, same antioxidant-packed ingredients, dairy-free, and ready in under 5 minutes for a fraction of the price. I've already made it three times this week.

The best part? If you already follow a healthy lifestyle, you probably have half these ingredients sitting in your pantry right now. The pitaya powder and blue spirulina are the only things you might need to grab, and they are absolutely worth having on hand!

If you love trying Erewhon smoothie recipes, my Hailey Bieber Erewhon smoothie is another dupe you might love! And if you prefer a healthy smoothie with a little added caffeine in the mornings, this easy matcha smoothie is for you!

    Notes

Use frozen fruit, not fresh. This is what makes the texture thick and creamy without needing to add ice, which waters it down. I tested this recipe with fresh berries and the texture and colour don't turn out the same.

    FAQ

Can I make this without pitaya powder?

Yes, you can use fresh or frozen dragon fruit instead (approximately ¼ cup) blended right in. The colour will be slightly less vibrant, but the flavour will still be amazing!

What does blue spirulina taste like?

Very mild and slightly earthy, but honestly in a smoothie with berries and pitaya, you really can't taste it. It's mainly in there for the colour and added minerals.

    Can I make this vegan?

Absolutely. Just swap the Greek yogurt for a coconut yogurt or cashew yogurt. Everything else in the recipe is already plant-based.

Where can I buy pitaya powder and blue spirulina?

Both are available on Amazon, at most health food stores in Canada, and increasingly at places like Whole Foods and some Loblaws locations. I always keep both in my pantry because they're great for smoothie bowls and açai-style recipes too.
